The casa-museo of César Manrique is located in Haría, North Island, in the Valley of 1000 palms trees. It is the personal home of the artist, where he lived his last years, after abandoning his Foundation, his house of Taro Tahiche, where he could no longer be creative. Thanks to the work done by the Cesar Manrique Foundation, we can now access.
It is an old house traditional of Haria, located at the centre of an oasis of Palm trees, south of the city. It is best to leave his car in the Center and walk through the streets of Haría for to admire the simple architectural beauty of the city. After a walk of 10 minutes, it accesses the oasis, by a sclupte portal, which gives access to the House, passing several beautiful pergolas that encourage relaxation. On the left, is exposed a car painted by the artist, and in the middle, the entrance of the House with its traditional Canarian portico.
