welcome to Lanzarote

Lanzarote is an island forged by the same fires that give life to the Earth. It’s the northernmost and easternmost island of the Canary archipelago, which forms Macaronesia along with Cape Verde, the Azores, Madeira, and the Islas Salvajes.

Like a floating jewel in the Atlantic Ocean, Lanzarote contains a great variety of landscapes within its 800 square kilometers, each of them beautiful and unique.

Today, thanks to strictly controlled development, 80% of Lanzarote’s surface is protected (ie, natural parks, national parks, reserves, integral reserves, sites of scientific interest, natural monuments) and the whole of its territory is designated a Biosphere Reserve.
